25th Anniversary CLE Symposium

The Center on Wrongful Convictions kicks off celebrating its 25th Anniversary with a spring symposium that includes four discussion panels that highlight the areas of the law in which the CWC’s work has made impacts, changed laws, and changed lives. To kick off the symposium, join CWC cofounders Larry Marshall and Rob Warden as they discuss their fight to end the death penalty in Illinois and the founding of the CWC. Other panels include current and former CWC staff, clients and experts discussing:
- Impact of trauma on false confessions among juveniles
- Wrongful convictions and wrongful sentencing of women
- Litigating police misconduct pattern and practice claims
